Introducing The Zoom-Pan
Control |
The Zoom-Pan control allows you to zoom in and pan around large Time-Fusion Photographs, making it possible to see some of the enchanting detail of these large composites within the limited capability of most computer monitors. Here are a few hints on making the Zoom-Pan Control work for you: |
| Each page of the Gallery has a Zoom-Pan button that will load the Zoom-Pan Control. With the Zoom-Pan Contol loaded, clicking the Zoom-Pan button again will reload the standard image. |
| Roll the cursor to the center of the image above without depressing a mouse button. At the center of the image the cursor is an arrow, but rolling the cursor to within 20% of the right edge changes the cursor to indicate PANNING and the image scrolls to reveal more image to the right. The futher towards the right edge the cursor is placed, the faster the image will pan. |
| With the image panned to the right, rolling the cursor to the left edge of the image without depressing a mouse button changes the cursor to indicate PANNING and the image scrolls to reveal more image to the left. The image will not pan up or down because you are already seeing its full vertical extent. |
| Depress and hold down the left mouse button and the image ZOOMS IN making everything bigger. Double click the left mouse button and hold the mouse button down on the second click. The image ZOOMS OUT, making everything smaller. This should work on a single button Mac mouse. |
| With the image zoomed in, you can pan up and down as well as left or right. |
| Occasionally, the Zoom-Pan Control will not load correctly. If this should happen, refresh the web page and the control should load properly. The images for the Zoom-Pan control are large, about a megabyte, so they will take some time to load with a slow internet connection. |
| The Zoom-Pan control was developed by Fabio Ciucci and is licensed for use by Time-Fusion.com. Nice job Fabio. Please see the Links page for additional information. |
